Without doubt Collin's model of the tanker SS Ohio is the best example of that particular genre that I have seen in any of the sims.

The Ohio was on loan to the Royal Navy in '42 and the damaged model is pretty much what she looked like after the German attacks on the Pedestal Convoy in the Med.  :-/
