She was not well-received by the 5th, and played an extremely small part in combat action there, serving in a mix of A-20s with the Grim Reapers. She suffered from poor visibility from the cockpit....claimed the Reapers. [smiley=sad.gif]
However, the 9th couldn't get enough of the 26s, and complained about the lack of C model (Glass Nose) availability. The C was not to be had and many, many 26B solid nose planes accounted for over 18,000 sorties in the European theatre. [smiley=2vrolijk_08.gif]
