need a bit of help with the MB

Postby bricks4wings » Thu Apr 05, 2007 6:49 pm

I was wondering if anyone knows if its possible to add a temporary refueling area in a mission ? I've been building a multi-staged flight and set an airfield as an infastructure  on a remote island and was wanting to find  a way to refuel the aircraft at this stop without having to split the mission.

I do that (also to rearm) by hitting "alt", which pauses the game, and then select "change aircraft" (I think that is the choice) from the top menu, then select the same ac you are flying. That should refuel and rearm the plane. Then back to the game. I do this also to get a "new" airplane if the old gets shot up too much to continue combat but I can creep back to my airfield. You can cheat a bit and do this while you are flying too. I don't think there is a way to add a fuel stop to the stock bases otherwise.

Sarg Willy came up with an addon that allows you to create a refueling area at sea for floatplanes.

There is a Refuel Depot file available for CFS1 at the Allied Air Corps site but I don't know about CFS2. The CFS1 refuel zone is emblazoned - and targetable - on the runways (European Theater, so it would only work in CFS2 if you're using imported scenery/runways from CFS1). If you want to do a possibly large web search, type in CFS refuel depot or refuel(ing) depot.

Sorry to interupt.  Can anyone help.
I have bought a shrinkwrapped CFS2  xplosiv.
I can't find any "Mission Builder"  I have installed full/complete and there is no mission builder on any menu or any .exe file or any subdir. I have 1024*768 resolution.

Just wanted to thank everyone for the assist.  DL'ed the refueling . It took a bit to figure out how to get it to work. (I had to place it in "water" and set the runway right up to the edge.) However its easy to go for a "swim" if your not careful.lol. It will make a challenging addition to my campaign.
Thanks again.
