How do you create skins onto an aircraft? i have an accurate tsr.2 model and i want to add a skin to it as the model shows only a white skin. it is a fs 2002 model from www.bluesteel.com i think. can any one help, i can provide extra information.
All modern aircraft have four dimensions: span, length, height and politics. TSR-2 simply got the first three right.

Not sure if yiu can use FS2002 skins in CFS2. FS2k is compatible.

O.K, ahem(removes foot from mouth). Martin Wright's DXTBmp may be what you're looking for. You can get it here

I think you can use any graphics program, such as Paint Shop(Pro) & Irfanview, to create skins and then use DXTBmp to convert them if necessary. Any other members feel free to correct me if I'm wrong or ommitting something.

The site you linked to seems to be down right now or I would check it out for you. Maybe I have the wrong idea but if the aircraft is untextured there's nothing you can do about it.

Now that sounds like an intresting plane. My Father worked on TSR2 at Boscombe Down and we moved the family to Blackpool when she was moved to Warton.I look forward to hearing how you get on converting her and maybe seeing a sneak peak???????

These's a TSR.2 for FS2000 posted right here. http://www.simviation.com/fs2000military26.htm
It should work fine in CFS2 without any conversion. Has its own panel & sound files so won't even need re-aliasing.

You can have a look if i can get an image uploaded, unfortunately i have contradictary info about armerments but the plane flies well and you should see the mess 12 1000lb bombs make, i havent got the cruise missiles or the nuclear weapons set up yet but hopefully i can fix that. i always have probs with images.
