Help - Missing Fonts - Squares Substituted

Hi,
I have just reinstalled Win98 on my machine and have noticed that the fonts in CFS2 (and some other Microsoft applications) are all the little squares or zeros.  Is there possibly a missing font, etc?  I ran the activeX diagnostic tool and then repaired my system fonts, but cfs2, Win Media Player and others still have these squares.  If anyone has any ideas as to what might be the culprit, any help is appreciated.
