I think James007 reference to trial and error may be my best option.
I've had this on two other computers with no problems. Both running XP SP2.
This one just happens to have windows media center edition. Basically XP Professional, Service Pack 2 with the media cra_ added in. Tried running CFS2 with the onboard video (ATI 200) before adding new card with the same results. Tried clean boot,no luck. Tried turning off firewall,No luck Updated EVERY driver listed in hardware manager,No luck. I just think it's a glitch in the OS that I've not figured out yet.
O, did I mention that the reason I have this computer(was my wifes Xmas gift last year) was her Photo Explosion Deluxe program WOULD NOT PLAY. It should play like gangbusters on this setup but so far it just won't. So I'll keep cusing and trying till I get it going.
Still excepting any and all advice. CFS2 Pilots DONT GIVE UP.
