;D I'm proud to say that Red Star went to full beta-test mode this morning.   Hope to have the package ready for full release in a week or so....barring major alterations.  :(

Told you not to get between the element leader and his wingie.....those AIs can be tenacious once they lock on.   :'(   But it's like getting thrown from a horse; you gotta get right back on.   :-*

Your alright Doug. My aim's so good the enemy don't stand a chance...

...unfortunately neither do I as we both come crashing down in a crumpled heap...

Happeened at least 4 times already. 2 of those (may have been 3!) were on the first mission! ;D

Knowing Doug, as I do, it takes something special to get him to strap on a combat plane these days.  Brave Lad that.  ;)

My deflection shooting is still superb! I can take a B-29 out at 1300 yds :o But dogfighting 6 F-84s in my Mig when my idiot wingmen crash into each other is proving a little tricky...
I've got a Red Banner already :o I've also got lots of lead buried in my poor little Mig :'( How the **** do you fight when your engine lag can be measured on the calendar?  ;D

You might find that the MiG's best combat speed is between 275 and 300 knots.   And though acceleration may seem slow now, no opponent can out-accelerate or outrun you.....I promise.   8)
