CFS2 still lives ?

Am I mistaken, or is there no longer any CFS2 multiplay server ?

Also, anyone interested in flying CFS2 via IP can find me hosting on FS2004. This is a locked room with the sole purpose of displaying my IP for CFS2. This way CFS2 can be kept alive and we still have a lobby.

I checked out Hyperlobby but CFS2 seems not to be listed any longer.

For the next few weeks I can be found on FS2004 lobby usually for an hour or so at approx 2130 UK time.  You dont need FS2004 installed to play, just go to the lobby to get my IP.

Following the link you provide, I see no reference on that site explaining how exactly the squad achieves multiplay connection.

Therefore, I assume for that particular squad CFS2 is in-fact dead.

Its done via an IP connection that the host of the session give to the people who turn up. We have several people who host so it'd be kinda pointless to have a page saying "we connect via TCP/IP in CFS2, here are the ips to connect to"  ::)

Persumably the 'IP of the day' would be given out on some kind of voice com ?

Personally that wouldnt appeal to me as I get sick of talking to people all day long, after which I dont want to talk to nobody.

Does it surprise you? What amazes me is that there are still people who use FS98, and still designing addons for it....!
