Hi guys;
               Before I ask my questions let me state that  I have been observing and d/ling here for about three years ( My name is Fibber and I am a eye-candychoholic). and have enjoyed every minute of it. This place is a wealth of information.
               I have been away for about three months and have been recently told that I need some reconstructive surgery and to  anticipate a 6 month recovery.  Therefore( while I have two hands, LOL!!)  and in anticipation of this , I have been downloading and updating my game. It seems however I have run into a problem with some and need some help.
            B24; d/l your AI updates and love the looks but I have a problem. The tailhooks won't come down ( and boy is the LSO and CAP pissed at me!!!!!!!) and once I do a three wire and deadhead I can't get the wings to fold! I used a clean install of the stock TBD /SBD , added the update and no joy on the fold and tailhook . Am I missing something?
             Cohawk (?, srry 4 name ommission); I d/l ur VMF-312 F4U1D texture ( the one with the checks, love that eye candy!!). Used a Clean F4U1A install updated to  DB-F4U1D and did the update. Did not appear to take.  I have DBolts F4U1a-c-d models installed and all show w/ np, including the different textures for the different sqdrons. What am I doing wrong here?
                My system is elderly, a P2, 266, 66 (

Hi Fibber,

The only thing I can think is that you are using a different aircraft.cfg file. The tailhook and wing-fold have to be defined in the CFG file. Did you replace all the AC's files or just the MDL file?

                I sincerly bow in humble apology for taking your time. As Homer Simpson would say "DOH!!!" on my part. While waitin out the snow, I went back to basics and checked the reconfiguration of my keyboard and stick. It seems  that when I had to reinstall, back sometime ago, my wing fold which had been set at " SHIFT + F" changed to "SHIFT + W". It wasn't your planes, but rather the setting in my setup that I wasn't aware of.  I meant to get back to you last night but two feet of snow got in the way!!!!!!!!
              Sincerest apologies. Now if I could only get VMF312 to slate my need for eye candy!!!!!!!!
