Mekong River

I've been trying to get set up to create some Vietnam War era missions (Riverine ops) using aircraft and boat addons from that time, but I can't get the Mekong river system to show up. It's there and can be seen from altitude, but when you get close the tiles cover it, leaving nothing but empty river beds. I've tried every combination of sceneries, addons, textures, the Pacific Coast mod, etc. and nothing seems to work. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions from folks with more sceneries knowledge than I have, which isn't much. Thanks

i would look into Richard Ludowise's  cfs2 water  I know what you mean on doing some Rivine missions I have the Mekong but it ain't muddy
