CFS2 and the SCW

Postby james007 » Fri Jan 28, 2005 8:19 am

Did you guys know that you can create your own Spanish Civil war Combat Fligh Simulator also. This is another part of Aviation History that you can be Simulated through this Simulator as well.

Here are some Ideas. You can start buy down loading the campaigns, sreens and sceneries available in this same Web site.http://www.simviation.com/menu.html

You also get planes screens and many other many goodies in this Spanish Web I found way back. It also many has other planes for your own enjoyment. Here it is:http://www.geocities.com/coreacfs/enlaces.htm

Another Web that has some planes available in their CFS2 section is:http://www.simnetwork.com/

This only the begining of the flexability of this Simulator.
If you are going to make missions for the SCW. I recommend that you make them for both sides. I think its more fun when you see it from both sides. It would also be nice if you share them with us . Enjoy

I like your site very much Silvia. There are not many dedicated to the SCW.

Silvia this planes was the Japanese Navies equivalent to the JAAF Ki45. Its real name was the Najajima JINI-C
Gekko.
Manufacturer:Nkajima Hikoki K.K.
Type: Reconnaissance, Bomber Interceptor
Engine:2 Nakajima NK1F Sakae 21, 14-cylider radial, air-cool, 1300h.p. each.
wingspan: 55ft.8in
Lenth: 14 ft. 11in
Weight: 15,190 lbs
Maximum speed: 329 m.p.h. at 19,685 ft.
Celing: 33,795 ft.
Range: 1,677 miles
Armaments: 1 machine gun
Crew: 3
USAAF code name: Irving
The  Final models of the J1NI were armed with a pair of two 20mm cannons like the the German night fighters in a oblique line of fire. They also carried radar equipment. They were called the Irving by the ally Airforces. They had some success against the B24 and the B29 at the end of the war.

I hope this information will help you in developing this  plane for the Pacific Theater.
This plane I believe is the only major particapant thats missing for us to  able  make a Deffence of Japan 46 campaign complete.

I really would appreciate it silvia.

Te lo agradeciera. Muchas Gracias

I forgot about his plane. I do like his planes and his contribution to the CFS2 community. But I beleive that one was not one of his better planes.

That does not mean I did not his previuos planes. I like his K43 and Ki44 very much. His Bf109G are of very good quility. I basically like his planes but I believe that the Gekko is under represented any way.

I like your work as well and I like your Judy very much. I would like to see another version of the Gekko please.
Perhaps with a different texure and foward guns.

Thank you Silvia
