2 question

Postby vilik » Wed Feb 09, 2005 9:20 pm

Hello everyone.
1-Do you know why I can not login with my user name Vilic?  It says it doese not exist.
2-I can not have the little tatical map displayed.  Even by applying letter "T"  And also have no voice communications between piolets.

What is the safest way to reinstall the program without loosing all my planes, scenery, etc.....
Thanks,  Vilic

1, Not a clue sorry
2, When flying about go to "Options" in the toolbar (press Alt+Enter if in full screen) and see if Radio comunication and Tac display have a tick by there name. If they dont just select them and you will be available.

If the have ticks by em then i dont have a clue sorry

Vilik help is on the way. Yes their a way to reinstall CFS2 without losing all your previous updates. Just insert CFS2 first Disk and tell it to install.  A reinstall option should come out. Press it and a Option with Media should appear. Do not reinstall without this option. After pressing Media it will install the usual
way.

After it has finish just press play and everyhting should come up as before.

Maybe when you install it the first time you forggot to request the CFS2 command assignment. You see when you install CFS2 it gives the option of weather to have the command assignmments in the CFS1 or CFS2 format. You probably press it to have them in the CFS1 format. I now that happen to me before.

Just be carefull when this option shows up, wish option you pick.
If you have any question please come back and I will try to help you with what little knowlegde I may posses.

Another word of advice is, once you have recover the program in what you may consider a satisfactory level. Make a CFS2 Folder as backup.

Make a new folder. Name it something
