Multiplayer bombs

How do I drop bombs in multiplayer??   When I pick my airplane and try to pick my payload the bombs or rockets don't even light up, only guns.    How can I add bombs or rockets??

Sadly, it's not possible to drop bombs or fire rockets in multiplayer - you'll need CFS3 for that or UBISOFT's IL-2 series of flight sims.

The closest we can get to bombing in online CFS2 is using so-called 'alpha bombs' - these are really modified cannon shells that drop from your aircraft like bombs and are set up via the aircraft's dp file to do bomb-like damage.

I've created 'alpha' bombers out of all of the AI-flyable aircraft for myself and my squad mates - they're all pretty good fun, though I think the divebombers are most successful (hem, hem...  ;))
