What 's "multiswap"

What 's "multiswap" ???
Can multiswap missions be played without being online ?? i downloaded one and do not know how to install it, it is called "Wind cried mary". About carrier ops inm bad weather.
Says somehting about DSP and othrstuff I am clueless about.
please help.
