Well well.  Dear Mr. Redneck.

You do realise, don't you, that we host other peoples' planes and give them full credit.  We do so with their permission and often, as is the case with that B25, their thanks.

That's why we don't rename stuff to ours.  It's not our plane.  

I wonder how you could have missed this when you've obviously been to our site where we clearly state that we merely host and modify, not create.

By the way - the link you've provided is not the plane we've re-released.  I'm wondering first, whether you've actually thought before you've posted. And secondly, therefore, what is your reason for posting...

Yep - changing the name might help those who had already installed a B25 with the same name.  Got it.

Mate, I just felt your post had a bit of a "put down" tone to it.  You know, "Ah, and again we ride...", to me sounded like, "These guys think they're doing something special when it's been done before".  When you said "At least they could have changed the name" to me sounded like, "These guys are claiming it's theirs."  I see now why you thought we needed to change the name, I just wish you'd said why in the first place.

Anyway, I guess it was all just a misunderstanding on my part.  Too often I see people complain on forums and it bothers me when somebody complains about something that's free.  I always think to myself, "Well if they think they're good enough to criticise, why don't they get off their cans and provide something better themselves?".

Well, Capt. Redneck, that'll do from me.  

I despise "flame wars" on forums but I do take exception to just one thing you replied with and which I can't see how I misinterpreted.  You told me to lighten up and that my tone is too abrasive.  Every forum user knows that using caps is yelling and, so, bad form.  When you said I DON'T CARE WHAT U DO!!! (3 exclamation points) well, I just felt that you were the person who needed to lighten up.

I hope that's it for this little discussion.  I also hope that you enjoy our work.

Not only did I change the Air CFG, but I also edited the text in the Airfile, Yeah I know, Hawk is just Babblin, & where do I fit into this conversation? I don't, LOL But I just want to say
In My personal Opinion, I Like both versions of the B-25 H

Hi Hawk..just read your comment about no credit for your re-paint. I went and downloaded your fine PBJ-1 Devil dog and had a look at the paint job...It's certainly very good but your plane is blue and ours is green and very differently painted...If someone out there has done what took me many hours to do then I appologise for doing the same job but I can assure the nose job was mine.

Dude! man how many B-25 versions were there anyway? Seems like the more i look into the B25 i find another version.

Lot's of B-25 Versions, I personally Like the B-25J-11 best
it was more like an A-20 Havoc/A-26 invader:

The US Marine Corps ordered 255 B-25Js under the designation PBJ-1J.

The transparent nose with its bombardier could be replaced at the factory by a solid nose that was equipped with eight 0.50-inch machine guns. With this modification, the aircraft was designated as B-25J-11, -17, -22, -27, -32, or -37, depending on which production block the modification took place. With its maximum armament of eighteen guns, the solid-nosed B-25J was the most heavily-armed attack aircraft in the Allied arsenal. Sometimes, however, the package guns on the sides of the fuselage were deleted, the remaining fourteen guns being more than enough forward-directed firepower.

A few years back at an airshow i meet a tailgunner of a B25H/field modified, that was stationed in the fareast in ww 2.

After a few meetings to talk war he had said that there main 75mm had went out on one of the planes and was replaced with two of the cannons that were in some old P-39's that had been bombed out but cannons were useable.

He also said more ground kills were made after the modification that with the 75. He has passed on, and i really injoyed the short time we had to chat and hear how things were. When asked what was the worst thing he remembered "mostly the weather and bug". War is Hell.
