The HawkIII on CFS2 download page 50 by Ivan Hsu says it requires the early version to work. But as yet I can not locate this version and my e-mail to Mr. Hsu was returned. I really like the looks of this old Hawk and would like to add it to my stable of more than 175 aircraft. Could anyone help me as to where I might find the early version?? Thanks in advance.

 Try the "Sim-Outhouse" site, look in their CFS2 download archive section.  That section has several Hawk III listed, scrool down until you find Version 1.0. I know its there, I just looked.
 And yes, the Hawk III is cool!!

Yep, V.1 is there, and Yep, the plane is great.  But you also MUST have v.1.6 just below it on the same page.  Otherwise the aircraft .cfg and .dp are out of whack, and there's no Vcockpit views.   SO--first v.1, then v.1.6, THEN v.2.
