Stall Warnings

Postby xFLAMESx » Thu May 20, 2004 4:38 pm

How can I make the plane stop annoying me when I stall?

I know I can just delete the WAV file but want to use that as a last resort.

Any help much appreciated.

There is an entry is the *.air file that should stop this. I am not on my home PC now so i can't give examples. Try that, with AirED.

Hi - am back home now, so I have airEd. Open the *.air file in question and search for 'stall'. Its section 319, ' Aural stall waring'. Change that to =FALSE(0).
Should work.

Much appreciated Dan,

if I wanted to remove overspeed warnings then just look for that entry - right?

Will this be the same for FS9?

Oooooohhh.... I don't know about FS9. I just flipped up a FS2002 Pro *.air and it was the same. For the overspeed warning i found no toggle, so just reduce the speed for it to 0.

Have U ever tried chasing a BF-109 and catching it BEFORE it takes-off?

Nah just playing - I dunno really ::)

I guess it's just the thought of going faster than the speed of sound in a Mk1 Spitfire ;D

It's good fun - I might do the same to the 109's - just to make it fair.
