Problems W/ B17's Over Germany AKA 303rd Bombing

I don't know what's wrong but for some reason the bombing run is completely skipped over. I play the mission and press X to skip to next action after fighters are gone (depending on the mission, it could be several times) and then I'm getting ready to land. About the seventh time I played the first mission the bombing run actually came up. Why is the bombing run so inconsistent?

Try it without warping (hitting X). The mission might be intended to be played in real time in order to work properly.
