I've put this up because I've noticed a load of negativeness against the new title- amidst some positive reviews... ::)

I chose the old format, mainly becouse it would be nice to import aircraft from the FS series into CFS4.  But this is kind of a mute point, from what I've heard MS has chosen the CFS3 graphics engine to run CFS4 and its incompatible to the FS series graphics engine.

Bezz,

Don't feel too bad, you had 57 views of your poll and 5 votes.  Not too bad a start!

CFS3 Format.

It has lots of potential, it just needs the bugs taken out. :)

I thought it would be great if they made a totally new Flight Simulation that was a combination of Military and Civilian flight just like in real life.  You could have both virtual airlines and squadrons.  Call it something like "Ultra Super Mega Flight Simulator " (just kidding about the name!)

But seriously, I think that would be a neat idea.

But then I'd probably have to make a major upgrade to my system.  Needs it already!

I agree with Jimclarke here, I am still using CFS. CFS2 worked but crashed often no matter what I did. CFS 3 never did work even with the patch. I would like to see a combanation of both CFS and flight sim. Mutt

CFS4!!!!!! I haven't got a system that will run CFS3 yet!! I can't comment on the game engine for 3 but it must be worth ironing out the bugs for. Being able to man turrets. bombardier poisitions etc has to be worth keeping if the engine can be improved. AI has to be good if nothing else.

On the other hand, if you have a lot of freeware and payware add-ons for CFS 1&2 and the FS series, it seems a pity not for them to have an extended life by not being compatible with the new sim. So I don't know which way to vote. Is CFS 3 good enough to make you forgo all the things you've done with the others?
