It turns out that Mad Catz, the owner of the Saitek brand, was/is having money problems.
Doing a spot check just now, I see a Saitek Pro Flight Yoke with Three-Lever Throttle (PZ44) for sale on Amazon for $540.75.
I have a suspicion that all the common flight sim equipment has sold out, and what IS in stock, is basically the lesser wanted items. Once they're sold out, I doubt that they'll be made anymore.
For instance, I was thinking of buying a Saitek yoke back in November. No sales anywhere, and most companies didn't have them in stock.
Hopefully, I'm wrong, but you might want to get what you can, if you can.
Heck, I may sell my stuff and retire to Tahiti.

The code for the software is started but still has a bunch of bugs. I'm not that familiar with it so a friend of mine from Spain is helping me get it ironed out.
Cheers!
