Airspeed hold switch not working in Dreamwings E175

Hey, guys,
I was wondering if there is a way to get the autothrottle to work in the dreamwings Embraer 175. A lot of the other switches on the panel for this aircraft I have discovered are operational, but the autothrottle feature doesn't work, and I have had to have my hands on the controls at all times while doing a flight in this aircraft due to this problem. Is there a way to make the autothrottle work in this aircraft?
