A Garlic a day keeps the Doctor away....

Postby Fozzer » Fri Jul 28, 2017 10:04 am

Always something interesting going on in the San Francisco Bay area....

...which is why I've spent so many years Flight Simming around there...

A GARLIC FESTIVAL!.... ....!

http://kron4.com/2017/07/28/video-annua ... off-today/

Garlic: One of many vegetables I enjoy every day in my various meals!

A wonderful member of the Onion family, the consumption of which I put down to my long life and good health!

Each of my various daily Dinners and Suppers often contain up to eight different vegetables at each serving, including Garlic, Onions and Leeks...and Roast Beef Joints, Pork Pies, etc...!

A recipe to maintain a healthy gut and digestive system!

...and my bodily interior has got used to me consuming such vast amounts of Garlic, etc, so that Bad Breath, Smelly Skin, etc, is something from the far distant past now....

...trust me!.... ;) .... ...!

There you go Chums....

If you love your Tummy, and want to keep it in good working order, then eat plenty of Garlic, etc.

(More good news: It may also enable a happy life as a Single Bachelor).... ;) ... ;) ......!

Try it...You'll get to love it!

Ta for the tip, Doug.... ;) ...!

..the thing is..Mr Sainsbury's Food Emporium is far closer to me than the Isle of Wight when it comes to me getting my daily dose of Garlic .... ...!

When it comes to Food Festivals I have visited, thinking that they are giving out free samples to taste, I find that most of the contributors are charging money for the complete package!

So, whenever I go to a Food Festival I always take my own sandwiches and drinks with me...

...and hope that it doesn't rain .... ...!

(It never rains in Sainsbury's).

I do think about it, Anthin .... ....

..but upon observing the amazing dish displayed before my eyes each time, the overwhelming desire to consume it overcomes the thought of photographing it and posting it on Sim V ... ...

Need to spend more time eating rather than photographing ... ...!

And besides being healthy it keeps the vampires away. Vampires will walk (run?) miles out of their way to avoid garlic. Maybe garlic deserves the credit for vampires keeping fit.

Saturday Morning. Cool, wet and miserable.

So what better than to prepare and cook a lovely, tasty meal!

For today: Roast Pork with Apple Sauce, with loads of assorted vegetables, and my special gravy!

Skewered, (to heat all the way through, rubbed all over with Rock Salt, and spiked with Cloves for their special effect!

Pop in the oven on high heat for 15 minutes (Gas Mark 8 ) to seal the meat and make the crackling (skin) crisp, and then turn the heat down to low (Gas Mark 5) for a long cooking time!

....whilst I pretend to fly my imaginary Cessna 150 Aerobat around the scenery delights of Southern California...where the weather is nice!

It can rain as much as it likes now....

...I'm sorted.... ...!

Paul.... ... ...!

P.S....I almost forgot....with roast Garlic!
