It's just that we don't always consider "u" as part of the humor... unless, of course, "u" should insist on being the but of it...

I think humor/humour prevents us from taking ourselves too seriously. Also consider this... Show me a person without a sense of humour (for you Foz) and I'll show you a person without compassion or any appreciation of the Arts.

H wrote:Much of the time I've avoided such posts in this section; however, there is also much misunderstanding with scriptural interpretation. Now, "In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God..." The rest of the first chapter of John (who was one of those watching Him ascend) verifies that the Word refers to Christ. Since the claim is that God created the world (Earth) and predates it, He and His disciples understood that He arose in His otherworldly form and was, thereby, an alien to begin with.
Now, please, I've had no intention of stuffing a plug in the humor of this Humour thread that it should be closed it down on my account.[/color]

You might have noticed that the other contributors to this thread pretty much ignored that one so the plug was probably unnecessary to being with.

I find this amusing... With all due respect to some who may taking humor too seriously

Even I do not know it means..... That scriptural interpretation of bible verse. That doesn't make any sense to me. Sorry I just don't guess it.

So If you were one of these people, call religions... please accept my apologies.

But also they're some of who don't take their religion seriously.. Please!! Apply what you had learned. The world will be a better place.

If you don't comprehend it, how can can you claim humor to anything you relate to it?
As to the subject of your 'religiously' affiliated picture and the section of verse I related, it is in the New Testament of the Christian Bible; there are more scriptures relating to it in the Old Testament, essentially, the Jewish Scriptures; not of lesser concern, the Q'ran specifically mentions the central figure of your picture as a holy prophet and, to that point, it could be considered that you are mocking the Q'ran, as well.

I had a death experience a long while ago, in the century past, which verified some beliefs and changed a few others. I have not seen fit to discuss them on this forum although some have, it seems, intentionally tried to intiate such. The religion of this website is supposed to be aircraft, simulated or otherwise, not 'spiritually-related' religions or beliefs. It's expanded into other topics and even with those we should sometimes have more discretion.
So, applying what should have been long ago learned, you do not calm the bees by whacking at their beehives... seriously...
