I just uninstalled ORBX because of the problems it gave me. I am now having to reinstall FSX all because of ORBX, The problem was the packages I downloaded removed the default scenery and all of my AI flight plans I had.
They want you to have everything ORBX and unless you have certain packages installed the others do not work the way they are supposed to. I was told that there was supposed to be a scenery configure program that allowed you to choose what you wanted and did not want. Well I never saw any such thing. After installing I fired up FSX and was surprised to find myself sitting at an empty air port with absolutely no static aircraft and no AI any where.
I also would not count on any support from the forum they have as I was told that I did not know what I was doing. When I posted the exact description of the package I down loaded and pointed out that no where did it state this would remove AI flight plans th epost was locked by an administrator because I was not following the rules. I than posted another post stating that the rule I broke was the fact that I was telling the truth The biggest problem once installed there is no uninstaller to put things back the way it was
They force you to use there download manager they call GE VIEW and there library files and of course they want you to install ORBX GLOBAL which they will gladly give you for a price.
It is your system and I am not trying to tell you what to do but if you install ORBX you had better be prepared for problems down the line.
Personally I will never download another ORBX package. :o :x

ORBX is great and if you heed the readme files you should have no problem. The Forums I agree they are short with people but I think mainly because in the past they have been plagued by pirates and those same folks expecting support when they run into difficulties.
GEView is not a ORBX thing it is a Google Earth program. Orbx files are handled by FTX Central and elevation issues are handled mostly efficiently by Vector.
As to the OP question, I have no idea, with FTX ORBX there is no need for UT any more so whether there would be a conflict I have no clue.

I stand corrected you are 100% correct. The problem was there was nothing in any readme file or in the description that stated it would remove default AI nor anything about using it to choose what you want or do not want that is what got me! I had no way of knowing that 8-)

I have never had a problem with Orbx scenery except
when I still had UTX installed.Uninstalled FTX and problem
solved.

No.I prefer ftx to utx.Orbx scenery is way ahead
of Utx.What I was saying was.I had Utx Usa,Canada,
Tropic america and Europe,on my computer.

When I installed my first Ftx scenery,(Pac.North West),
I ended up with with some strange anomalies, such as
large volcano type mountains with lakes in them, and
huge holes in the scenery.

I posted on the Orbx site my problem.Their answer.Another
scenery was the problem.

I then uninstalled Utx Canada.Problem fixed.I later uninstalled
my other Utx scenery,as I bought Orbx to replace Utx.

Ftx Orbx is far superior.
