More ducted propeller than ducted fan; I think the aero-engine world was still quite a way to developing a piston engine light and powerful enough to power a fan. ^-^

Of course whilst Mr Caproni was doing this, Mr Whittle and Herr von Ohain were about to revolutionise the world of aircraft propulsion forever. :D

Our 1960's Model G is still going strong; it's outlasted all manner of the current Vacuum offerings out there, and won't get replaced very soon. It can still suck up a 3/4" OD SS ball bearing with substantial force... better than a current ShopVac can!

I used it to turn the Propellers on my Plastic Models when I was a kid...
