Hey all you lovely people


Ive been looking and looking here, ODG and on Avsim, but I have yet to find an offshore scenery package that works for P3D v3.4


does anyone have any links for some that do ? preferred in the North sea region but honestly not fussy.

If by "offshore scenery" you mean islands, most FSX island scenery will work, and even som FS9 scenery.

This is from the "old" Madeira scenery, taken only a few months ago.

And THIS is the beginning of the landing strip at the airport in the NEW version of Madeira that's going to be released (hopefully) soon.

And this was off Catalina island a few months before that. Not really a good landing place. :D

I can tell you that together with Paul who has also been very active on ODG I am working on a giant Offshore package for FSX and P3D. It will still take a month or two, but you will get a bunch of oil rigs, drillships, etc with plenty of places to land a helicopter. A couple of small teasers:

Once we are getting ready we will ask for beta testers here in this thread: http://www.avsim.com/topic/459116-globa ... rt/page-64, but it will probably first be around Christmas due to real life compromises, but we have steady progress.

Package will as our other packages also be uploaded here on simviation
