Planes w/o VC - ISDT_ATR42-300_Air North

I was very excited to see this plane come up as I have flown this route in real life some... model exterior looks awesome....but WTH? No VC? Come one - please develop it with VC - o r grant permission for someone to add it in.....shouldn't be too hard - I would think. If it is - accept my apologies but so many planes are with this...to have one not hav it is odd.... I promptly deleted it... sad...was so excited too!

The model is either created with a VC or without one.
This model was made for FS2004 I am sure. It's sure not FSX. If it was FSX you could add another FSX VC to it but not this one. The only chance would be if someone converted it to FSX native like is done with some models uploaded recently by a guy called LLC.
Also Stephen Browning who uploaded those files mentioned it was 2d panel only. If you look at simviation files nearly all will tell you if they have no VC or if they are textures only. I also read sometimes that there are some people who only use 2d panels and never the VC! We are all different.

Also take note that modelling a VC is usually bigger deal than making the model in the 1st place. It can take months to do. It's no easy task. Just think about how it's done! Every bit has to be modelled in a 3d design program, then parts coded so it works. Not to mention all the texturing too with alpha channels for reflections, and transparent (glass) parts!! Like I say it's a big deal!

and yet......so many do it - to not do so seems like such a waste of time.....oh well not a huge worry - I like the model - not wedded to it...

In many cases, creating the VC is one of the hardest and most time consuming parts of Modeling, especially in today's World where everyone wants every Switch, Knob and Toggle to work (or do something).
