Lucky chap. I wonder how easy escape would have been without the assistance of those who ran into the water?

He had been submerged for around a half minute before the recuers righted the aircraft, very lucky chap, not easy to get out of the seat straps when you are upside down and under water. Well done the rescuers.

would have been almost impossible for the pilot to exit while inverted in in less than 2ft of water. Good work those willing to go to the rescue.
