Let's hope there is no more divorce disagreement between ground control & pilots The Wright Brothers didn't have any ground control... (if they had, we might be stuck with lighter than air machines, till today!!)
Not to be obnoctious, but in 1999 the Breitling Orbiter 3 did the Round the World flight in 19 days, 21 hours & 47 minutes NON STOP & with TWO onboard. Solar Impulse is taking more than a year by now In 1986 the Rutan Voyager did it in 9 days, 3 minutes and 44 seconds, also non stop with two on board. In 2005 the Virgin Atlantic GlobalFlyer went flying solo around the world non stop, in 2 days 19 hours and 1 minute. I hope HB-SiB finishes the longest World Flight without any further discompostures The original plan was a multi-stage journey from March to August
