HS-748 Engine RPM Gauges

Postby Lumpy20 » Sat Jul 16, 2016 7:03 am

I am running FSX Acceleration on Win 10/64Bit. All works well but the CAA-HS_748 (//HS748 V 1.0 Base Package, Pack 1, Pack2) I have loaded has a problem with the engine gauges. They remain static and do not respond to throttle changes. I have turning Flare and DX10 off but this makes no difference, the gauges remain static during flight, stop and start. Any help appreciated. Thanks KH

Hi,
When you are in the VC, go to 2d main panel and then back to VC, then they should work!

Hi Andiroto

Thanks, that worked fine and other gauges also came alive.

However the Altitude Management gauge (above trim gauge) is there but is blank

The space for the Auto Pilot has no panel just a gap in the VC cockpit.

Can you help?

The HS-748 I have loaded up is an early version.

Should i load up the HS7V6 update panel. It looks a bit complicated?

Thanks again for your help.

Regards, KH

Hi,
In VC the Autopilot should be in the lower part of the pedastal (right of the pilot seat)!
The blank part in 2d main panel (over the trim gauge) should be the fuel trim gauge! It has a
extra selection in the instrument menue section!

Yes, take the latest panel update by Dave Rocholl and if you want the Autopilot panel in 2d do this:

1. Make a safe copy of the panel.cfg

2. Add to the panel.cfg above:

Window10=Autopilot

3. Go to this section:

//--------------------------------------------------------
//[Window08]
Background_color=0,0,0
size_mm=189,210
window_size_ratio=1.000
position=0
visible=0
ident=84
window_size= 0.185, 0.273
window_pos= 0.459, 0.736

gauge00=HS7!Autopilot_SEP2, 0,0,189,210

and rename it to:

//--------------------------------------------------------
[Window10]
Background_color=0,0,0
size_mm=189,210
window_size_ratio=1.000
position=0
visible=0
ident=84
window_size= 0.185, 0.273
window_pos= 0.459, 0.736

gauge00=HS7!Autopilot_SEP2, 0,0,189,210

Save it and you should have in the instrument menue section the Autopilot panel in 2d!

Hope it helps!
