Whoopi, can't wait.
First all, I do like windows. I also use Linux. Occasionally.
I used an original Macintosh back in the late '80s, but when it came time to buy my own computer EVERYTHING was cheaper for a CP compatible.
So ends the history lesson.
Windows 10 Anniversary Update coming August 2 for 350 million Windows 10 users
Lets see. Hmmmm. Not much of interest in there for me.
On the PC, the major features of the Anniversary Update are -
X - more powerful Ink features for pen-enabled systems ( I could NOT possibly care less)
X - a more capable Cortana with integration with the Cortana apps on Windows 10 Mobile, iOS, and Android (ditto)
X - Extensions and better standards support in the Edge browser (don't use edge, don't like it)
X - better Enterprise security using Windows Defender Advanced Threat Protection (anyone here have the "Enterprise Edition"? Didn't think so.)
X - better gaming support in the Windows Store (never went there, don't care)
X - and new classroom features to make it easier to have shared-use systems in education scenarios (how many times do I have to say that I don't give a flying fork!)
There are more, small stuff, but I'm already bored beyond belief.
NEXT!
