A beautiful day for flying

The Alps, heading toward Geneva from LSTS.

Nothing special, but it's been a while...

Thanks, Dave.

I highly recommend a flight from St. Stephan Airport (Flugplatz St. Stephan) LSTS, to Geneva Airport LSGG.

On takeoff (runway 32 at 3304 feet), you'll need to climb high and fast. Not something for the old Cessna 172.

Or be an old lady and go right, around the mountain, before heading east.

Even in standard FSX, it's a nice flight.

P.S. -It's a WHOLE lot better (and fun) if you use your instruments.

BTW - the cloud cover is via real-time weather.

I don't care all that much which weather program you use, they all add a great deal of realism to a flight. :D

Thanks, Anthin.

It was just about the only opening that I saw during the flight.

One thing that doesn't come thru in those shots, is how much better the clouds are.

They're Rex clouds, but either Prepar3d V3.3 or OpusFSI has changed them. I'm betting (small bet) that it's Prepar3d.

As to the blue of the sky, that too is REX Essential PLUS Overdrive.

It's very unwieldy just for weather, which is why I use OpusFSI for that. But the collection of textures will blow you away.

Thanks, Rich.

Number 1 was just after I passed over the top of the mountain. That was when I figured that I'd have a nice, interesting, flight. :D

Best of all, as the other pictures show, it was a varied flight.
