NAHM acquires AA 727 for Museum

The National Airline History Museum, (NAHM) has Acquired - American Airlines Boeing 727 which will be permanently Displayed at the NAHM Museum in Kansas City Missouri soon !!

ICAO: KMKC

NAHM Museum currently in its Hanger Museum the following fully restored Aircraft :

1 TWA ROCKET

TWA DC-3

TWA Lockheed Constellation L-1049

TWA Martin 404

Lockheed Tri-Star L-1011

American Airlines Boeing 727

and lots of Vintage TWA Memorabilia in Display cases dating way back !!!

TWA Café & eatery on grounds

Now this Next picture your bout' to see,,, is of my "Miss Moonraker" taken back in 1957, after we had just arrived to Planet Earth from Jupitor our home Planet

Thanks JetRanger, what a very nice piece especially about the 727 ac. I had a friend in Vietnam who flew Broncos, AC47 and etc. He got hired on to American and flew for them until the 60 rule got him and then he went to flying regional for some sub carrier for AA. He and I stayed in touch until his death of natural causes. He had probably 25-30,000 thousand hours of flight with probable 28,000 as PIC. He told me flat out that the 727 was his very favorite ac he ever flew. It just handle well and just a super smooth flight characteristics of anything he had ever flown. Of course he didn't like the AP. He stated the trijet with the #2 in the tail was probably the reason for the comfortable flight characteristics and of course the wing design. Yep... all of the things we dreamed of as kids; The Home, the Car, Transit 'Of Tomorrow', etc...

It's all been replaced. Now, 'The Dreams' only last until the next News Cycle, the next Quarterly Report, and the next Election Cycle.
