Small flight with the default glider, just to enjoy the weather :)

And this is why an artificial horizon is one of the most important instruments in the cockpit :P

Nice to see a glider in the screenshot section. Did a bit of real world gliding at Pocklington near York good fun always a hedge and a high sided vehicle in your line of sight when landing. I like the fancy Discus X from Aerosoft and its fancy motor gliders. You always need the simplest of devices the yaw string taped to the canopy.

Yes, the string on the canopy is very important, and unfortunately it's missing from the default glider :/
I haven't bought any payware gliders yet. I suppose the default one fits my needs. I just wish the pilot body (legs etc...) would be visible in the VC.
I did only one real-world glider flight. Something like 30-40 minutes, with an instructor. There were no thermals, but there was some wind, so we could use the ridge lift to gain altitude. I was really a nice experience.
In the sim, I was using freeware CumuluX! to get some thermals and ridge lift. Then I uninstalled it when I started using the pawyare ASN, which does it as well.
It's not Condor sim for sure, but it's already enjoyable enough for me. :)

I really want a high quality Stemme S10 glider for fsx had one in fs9 and flight unlimited3 and it doesn't matter how expensive the glider it always has a bit of string taped to the canopy.

Good morning Stephan... ;)

Hope you don't mind me posting a little information for everyone...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yaw_string

When I flew the Lockheed T33 there was a Yaw String on the nose, many jet fighters have this, helps to keep the eyes looking outside the aircraft...

Yaw String not to be confused with the Lubber Line.

Wonderful shots...
Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug
