   ¡¡FELiCiDADES Fozzer!! In México it's traditional to bring a ''serenata" with Mariachi band, just before sunrise, starting with the MAÑANiTAS song. Usually for girls we pretended, it became common as well for family relatives & friends we appreciate.

This particular actor/singer Pedro Infante was also a pilot, credited with 2,989 flight hours. He died the 15 of April 1957, at the controls of a Consolidated B-24 Liberator just after take-off from Mérida Yucatán airport, crashing from 60 feet altitude into the city. :violin: :violin: :violin: That was his third important aircraft accident and we say since then ''the third time counts'' (la tercera es la vencida). Funny, I was born in '43 you were born in '34, same numbers inverted!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY FOZZER! Its so nice to know people who know how to enjoy life. And it appears that your Son likes you also. Which one of the Steam Truck Sims would you recommend to me? I think I would like a long-distance kenworth type of adventure.

Fëliz Cumpleaños, Foz!

Remember... Keep the Rubber side down, the java flowin', and don't give ol' Mavis at the Old Home Fill 'er Up & Keep On Truckin' Cafe too hard of a time!

Something to get the Diesel a flowing...

Hello Alan And Flacke!

Ta for the "wishes"... :D ...!

Fantastic tune, Alan! Excellent Truckin' song!

...and Flacke......Truck Sims....

I have:
18 Wheels of Steel across America.
18 Wheels of Steel Pedal to the Metal.
Euro Truck Simulator 2.
American Truck Sim. (latest).

...and my favourite...Rig 'n Roll!...>>> http://www.rignroll.com/

The reason why I love my Truck Sims...
..I have spent the past 16 years, every single day, touring the States of California, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, and southern Utah....in my various Flight Sims.....All the best scenery in the USA!... ....!
I know those areas now, like the back of my hand!
I have travelled most of the familiar numbered Freeways, Highways, and Routes, at low level in my baby aircraft, using my Plan-G and FS Navigator/Tramp Maps, and help from Wikipedia for local details.
My installation of "Ultimate Terrain USA" (and Europe) together with my Orbx FTX Scenery Mesh shows all these roads and tracks below me in awesome enormous detail!... ;) ....!

I love "touring", both in the Flight Sims, Truck Sims, my Bike, ....and Harley Davidson Eagle Riders, etc, on You-Tube!... :D ...!

The Truck Sims is an excellent alternative to explore the scenery at ground level!

I also have my Steering Wheel and Pedals which makes the whole experience a lot easier!

Because I have a fascination with California and all things "Californian", (Flower Power, Surfin', Beach Babes, etc).... :D ....my favourite/recommendation would be Rig 'n Roll! ....It includes a Road Map of California, and details of the various places en-route!

Its a lot of fun...and somefin' different!

Many thanks again Chums, for all my Birthday Wishes...more again in 12 Month's time....trust me!... ...!

Paul.... ... ...!

^ Thanks Fozzer for the excellent and well articulated response. You answered all my questions perfectly. The way that you and OldAirMail tour the country and the world is very similar to what I do as well. I get great satisfaction from seeing the interesting places from the viewpoint of an FSX airplane. Keep on enjoying yourself in your Airborne and Truckborne tours. I will consider you comments and perhaps try trucking one of these days. Thanks again.

Hello Zaph.....

Ta Mate!

Like Apex, one of my many delights in life*, is breaking words down into the spellings of; "sounds" of individual letters, so that others can understand the words!

I think the Chinese do something similar, with instruction manuals...without much success I fear.... ...!

Cheers Zaph!.... ...!

Paul..... ...!

* My other delight is trying to remember what; "Sex" was like many years ago.... ...!
