Just downloaded and installed the Tasmania Demo. Worked great but no change in YMLT runway issue. Still haven't got screenshots on this forum yet ( give me time I will figure it out ) but have put some shots of my YMLT on the Orbx forum site under freeware compatibility Elevation problem at YMLT mustang56.

Hopefully you will find a solution and get YMLT to work on your computer. Screenshot is one of the easiest screen capture programs to use under 1mb and works very well. http://simviation.com/1/download-file?f ... leId=27692 I have used it with xp and windows 7.

Okay if you notice the priority number to the right of each line, This is the order in which things are displayed. And while sections of scenery can look identical to others with the same scenery the difference is what is in front or in back of that section.
I keep telling people that the odds of any two systems having the exact scenery order are rare and than it is because of they are using only default scenery with out any changes or any addons
Once you add something it changes everything. Trying to compare your scenery to anyones scenery is really useless. Kind of like comparing apples to oranges.
In your case this could be a case of scenery in the wrong order. But it could also be a bad scenery
You stated that you found several bgl files but was not sure which file is the culprit. All you have to do is to remove one file at a time and see what you get just move one bgl file at a time put it someplace out of FS or put it on your desktop if you do not spot the culprit than you are looking at the wrong files.
Now mind you I do not nor never used Orbx and someone stated that it would put the files in the best place on each system which I find hard to believe.
Freeware scenery is kind of like pot luck sometimes it is good other times it is not. The reason is not everyone knows the proper way to design scenery. It may look easy but it can get complicated depending upon what you are trying to create. Payware scenery are designed by people who know what they are doing and only rarely will you find a mistake.
I wold not use freeware scenery that had a self installer as the odds are it is not correct
One way to find your problem is to start with a fresh untouched default scenery than install things one at a time and check after each install and make note how the order that your scenery is displayed each time
. I know this is a big pain in the rear but is is the only way you will find out what got changed and when. All it takes is to get two lines of scenery in the wrong order and it can cause this and other strange things to happen.

The only other scenery I have installed closest to this area is two New Zealand scenery Hamiltox and Taupox from http://aussiex.org/forum/index.php?/top ... re/&page=3
Hopefully the Orbx forums will be able to help you. Not sure why it works for me and not for you but that's computers for you good luck Dave.
