The thought of battered Kippers sent shivers through me.

My favorite is either Flake or Barramundi.

Would you believe that a few years ago our Fish and Chip shops tried to package their goods in polystyrene
clam shell containers ... a la McDonalds , that went over like a lead balloon , back to wrapped in paper.

Years ago it used to be wrapped in old newspapers , I suppose with the current standard of reporting and the
articles , what am I saying , they are not articles , just pictures with captions , our authorities decided that
newspapers constituted a health hazard !
Dead right !
That's the one and only time that the bureaucrats got it right.

Possibly because we are on the bottom of the world and therefore upside down our Fish and Chip shops sell
rather nice hamburgers with the lot.
Nutritionally one of those Hamburgers equals approxiamately fifteen Big Macs .

Fozzer could I interest you an a batch of very cheap sheep , no ownership papers , previous owner was a little shifty ,
it seems he has left the country (we think) , going price only $25.00 plus Postage .

Karol.... :D ....

Regarding the Woolly Animals....>>>

A very popular past-time enjoyed by my neighbours across the English Border from me, 20 miles away, in Wales.
(The Wales in Great Britain, not the Wales in New South Wales, although such devious activities may also be pursued there?).... ....!

Mind you.... ....

Some of the activities that folks get up to in Melbourne sometimes gives me great cause for anxiety... ;) ... ;) ... ;) ...!

Paul

We have a similar situation here ,
Our New Zealand neighbors also love their sheep .. .. (often) .

The only difference here in Melbourne is the shape of our balls.
Your balls are round ... (in soccer).
Whilst our balls are somewhat elongated , and score more often :D .. (in Australian Rules football).
It goes without saying that this could cause some anxiety.

I never could get overly excited over watching various "Ball Games", live or on the TV.

But....its a well known fact, that certain members of the Melbourne "Happy" Society, love getting together to enjoy each others "ball" games!..... ... ...!

Yuk ... ! ! !

Totally agree with you , I wasn't aware of that element.

I knew that in Sydney they have a Gay festival where they try to equal California and London aspects ,
and push that agenda very hard within our political circles , they are entrenched in what is often
referred to as the " Politically Correct " movement.

I will happily remain living in the past where values were somewhat different.

Paul

My kind of woman , my kind of flying ..............................

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sR76PfL2KRw

What is amazing is that often she would be exceeding the pain threshold yet she remains pretty
throughout , once I exceed about 4 G's I can feel my face being distorted by the G forces , and she
would be going well past 4 G's in that clip.
While I love that sort of flying , in all honesty I do not get near to her standard , she is impressive.

Sometimes, during my motorcycle rides, I turn my Go Pro video camera on my handlebars around to face me, and the contortions on my 82 year-old face during the rides scares the heeby-jeebies out of me!.... ....!

I seem to spend most of my time singing and muttering to myself!... :o ....!

Certainly not a pretty sight!... ...!
