Just because I've now got a stately Cruiser Motor Bike, doesn't mean that I've forgotten which way to twist the throttle to go faster on my Super-Sports Motor Bike..... ...!

I've got + an - painted on my twist-grips....(just so I don't forget).

Paul.... ... ...!

...... :D .....!

The venerable Triumph Metisse!

The "Desert Racer". A model owned and ridden by Steve Mac-queen, (as well as his Boeing Stearman garaged/hangared at Santa Paula airfield in California)!
...and presently ridden by Henry Cole around South Africa and Eastern Europe, in the series; "Worlds greatest motorcycle rides" on the Travel Channel.

Manufactured in a small Oxfordshire Workshop...>>>

(The Matchless Metisse was also a popular "scramble bike" in the 1950's-60's)

I always preferred my 1958 BSA 650cc A10 Super Rocket twin engine on my Café Racer.... ...!
But I've long given up the nostalgia for old British bikes nowadays, I'm more in favour of bikes which don't constantly break-down and require pushing for miles, and drip oil everywhere.... ;) ...!

Henry Cole did have various problems with his Triumph Metisse during his travels, and I don't reckon it was a very practical machine for the journeys he took!... ...!

For long journeys, you cant beat a comfy, Harley Street Glide!

...trust me!... :D ...!

Paul.... ....!
