An-2 at Duxford

Postby Jean Loup » Wed Dec 30, 2015 6:39 pm

My screenshots are with FS2004 in ‘windowed mode’ beacuse my sim runs smoother that way. I choose the grass strip:

Taking off at Museum front, very clear day (shows mikey mouse traditional FS9 clouds)

But since Weather can be set manually, I go for Visibility=5 ml, and close up to show the Museum interior, filled with prisoner aircraft (like birds in cage)

Like when I skydive view!

Almost no days I flew real aircraft with a transparent atmosphere, ussually hazy like this with no horizon. That covers well FS9 scenical deficiencies, augments ‘reality’

I love that IWM Duxford Scenery, downloaded it from here at Simviation. When I saw all the other scenarios they have for FS2004 (& FSX too :shifty: ) I tried to enter their site http://www.airfieldconstructiongroup.org ... but it was under maintenance or something, so I will try another day :violin: :violin: :violin:

Thank you ALL & have an excellent 2016. I bumped into a problem (I must be a MAGNET for problems!!). First I landed my Antonov, then tried to Screenshot parts of "Instan Replay Mode" using the "P" key to search for angle & framing: BUT all Ai aircraft VANiSH!! & they are an important part of this Scenario, one can even program them for longer flights to follow them or fly in formation (standard is they disapear shortly after retracting the gear). So I had to repeat the flight and freeze ("P" key) for every screenshot. I also have eliminated the red SiMULATiON PAUSED warnings (and other warnings) in the 2004 Language DLL. Good news is I re-suscribed to Airfireld Construction Group and now can access other RAF scenarios installments for FS2004 (& for FSX).
