Lazy River Ride

Postby BigTruck » Fri Dec 11, 2015 9:46 pm

Took a VFR ride down a river somewhere in the Pacific Northwest near the Washington/Oregon border, I'm sure some of you have flown the area. Very pretty.

Lovely shots, Truck!.... ;) ...!

I occasionally deviate from my regular South California warm and cosy flights, to the cold, wet, dull, Pacific North West, when I am in a self-flagellation mood!.... ....!

The closer you get to Seattle the wetter the weather becomes!

Its bad enough in England, at the moment!.... ....!

Paul..... ...!

Thanks Pappy! Fozzer, after 8 years in California I started to miss the rain, it was just sun sun sun. Nothing beats hearing the sound of rain on the metal roof with a fire in the fireplace.

Been to both Fallon and Hawthorne (Army Ammo Dump). Reno is beautiful, especially in the winter. I have a few friends that got out of the Corps and moved to Reno. It has terrific access to the mountains or the desert, your pick.

This is near Hawthorne during a field operation. Quite the show out there.
