Type 'GPS' into the search page and you get this:

Yes it is, just downloaded it and have it a spin. I do have one question if someone could help me
I noticed when you select approach it does not seem to have the same selections like vectors or intersections
or am I just not seeing this. I flew into KMIA and I was given ILS 30 by tower and all worked great, but I remember I the old GPS when you selected the runway and ILS it would give you options for intersecting from what direction you were flying in from. It was a VFR flight I did not an IFR, I know IFR would vector you in for final but VFR you can select different ways to the final.

Can someone shed some light on this?

OK spent some more time with the new GPS and I am still unsure how to select what TRANS you want for a selected runway. I see the approach selections but if you are flying VFR and you select the tower assigned runway and your are not VECTORING in then you cant select a TRANS like in the old GPS. you cant even load a trans in to see it in the map display before selecting like you can with the old GPS.

Am I missing something here and doing something wrong? Can some one chime in on this?

Yes the Transition function is not in the new gauge - mostly due to laziness. It can be added but I am not sure I am really inclined to do another release. Its possible to still use the GPS 500 at the same time as the new gauge - they do not conflict - so the transition could be selected that way.
I did not do previews of approaches because its easy to select an approach and cancel it again. I felt the added complexity was not worthwhile.

Well sir the gauge is great, and if I use the Honeywell FMC I can still select transitions for approach. It would be cool if you added in the future but I understand you have accomplished a lot with what you have done.
