Leaving Yolo County, Davis Woodland Winters Airfield, and heading for Maine Prairie airfield, onboard my Barnett J4B-2 Gyrocopter with a young lady passenger enjoying the flight!

This model is particularly nice, because it has been designed to enable the "Pre-rotator" to work correctly; (engage/disengage) using the "Flap" controls.

Engage the flexible drive to to the rotor head to pre-rotate the Rotor, then when fully rotating, disengage the drive to take off, allowing the rotor to spin freely!

It works a treat!

Wow...wonderful set and selection of Flying Machines we rarely see in the Screenshot Showcase Paul...nicely done... ;)

I always enjoy looking at Screenshots of Helicopters and VTOL Flying Machines.

Have not seen a Boeing Chinook or Boeing CH-113 "Labrador" just to mention two in the Screenshot Showcase in awhile... :violin:
Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

Yeah, that xenon is much easier to fly than a regular chopper. Here's mine sitting pretty in NYC:

You can land it practically anywhere!

I must admit that after trying to master the magic technique of "flying" Helicopters ever since FS '98, failing dismally, and finding no enjoyment in it whatsoever, I finally gave up trying long ago, and now stick to the simplicity and safety of Gyrocopters, together with my General Aviation Piston Prop aeroplanes!
My most commonly used aircraft each day is my Cessna 150 Aerobat, and my Bensen Gyrocopter, for my daily explorations of the countryside, interspaced with my Beech Baron 58TC for my longer flights to get somewhere somewhat quicker!.... :D ...!

Helicopters?...Nah!....I mostly prefer aircraft fitted with a wing on either side...and a propeller up at the pointy end!.... ;) ....!

Helicopters are for dying in!.... ....Trust me!
