Apart from the usual bad news.... ..... I'm always surprised to see snow on the streets in Colorado Springs (Colorado), a place I always associate with desert, drought, and extreme heat!
I'm always surprised to see such weather at low altitudes in the South Western States!
The sort of weather I normally associate the the higher latitude; Northern States, Alaska, and Canada.

...always confusing to select correct weather conditions in my various USA Flight Sim flights.... ....!

The trouble is, Jet.... ....

The Winter in England is very similar to the weather in the State of Washington most times of the year....

....and to anyone who lives there, knows that that means; cold, wet, and generally miserable!.... ....!

The Winter months in England restrict most of my countryside Tours, although, as my Motor Bike is my only means of Transport, she is still used for my daily local shopping, come rain or shine!

I just envy folks who have; "nice weather " all the year round...eg: warm and cosy, with Palm Trees!.... ....!

...it suits my 82-year-old old bones better!

Paul, as best as I can recollect, 60 odd years later, those damp rainy days are the reason for Tea in England.

Got a cousin living in Denver, the only cousin I actually communicate with throughout the year via email, I keep telling her it's always warm under a palm tree, you just gotta find one, that's all.

We've had a warmer than usual "winter" here in S Florida, Fozzer's kind of weather, I'm sure. Just a few weeks ago we were breaking high temp records here. Well, as my Grandma used to say (she lived in NY), "Better hot than cold." In the 50's and 60's it would get extremely cold here, early morning PhysEd outside, you couldn't see 10 feet in front of you for the fog, and by the end of the hour you couldn't stay outside. The coach made us dress out in almost any kind of cold except the very, very coldest, unlike today, when a small drop in temp and inside they stay. The winters would last Oct-March. Nowadays, "Winter, what's that?" is a common phrase. I've totally forgotten what cold is like.

From what I notice, in motorcycle rides in Florida, (on the Travel Channel), very sudden changes in the weather can result in torrential rain, which can quickly clear again within minutes!
Very changeable weather!

Like here in England, a very careful watch on the sky has to be performed!

"Clouds" always worry me, both on my Bike...and in the Flight Sim!.... .... ....!

This morning, Sunday, the wind outside is blowing fit to bust!....55 MPH in my back garden!.... ...!

...its certainly blowing the Cobwebs away!

...and far too dangerous for Biking!... ....!
