The wheel problem has to do with the contact points in the .cfg file. My comp is ~still~ out for a cleaning, so I can't play with the contact points, but they need to be a bit more in the negative direction.

As far as a "Module" folder, no, FSX does not normally have one, but some addon add one. You should be able to simply create a new folder in FSX, and name it "Modules", and add the files to it.

INFO :

I just checked my Super Duper personalized Customized FSX Gold / Acceleration edition and,,,,,,,,,,

mine does have a folder in it called "MODULES" :o

NOW ~ what sits / resides in that Modules folder ????

evidently ~ all the stuff to do with my "FSUIPC" program by Pete Dawson which you really should have !!!!

If you don't have any FSUIPC , than some of your Flight Simulator stuff & thingys may not work correctly, but that'll depend on your set up !

Also my other computer next to my MAIN Flight Simulator computer also has a FOLDER - MODULES installed which FSUIPC also resides in there too !!

Whats FSUIPC ???? WTF is that ???

Well read here and also Google for more info : https://forums.vatsim.net/viewtopic.php?t=8298

hello jetranger and boicat:

I got the plane flying fine now. but I got a new problem the new klm new livery has the same wheel problem half above ground and other half under ground. you said contact points so I should find them in the aircarft cfg? cahnge them into more negative side? right. btw I do have fight simultor fsx gold but does not have modules it.

thanks for the response
bombardier

I went to the aircraft.cfg and I did not see any "contact points" but I did see points 0 through 16 I would guess that would be them. those points are alot different than the ones I have in other planes cfg file. if so,? mabe I can delete them from the klm file and get the points from another plane and paste them in the klm file?

Don't delete and replace the [contact point] section, since doings so wholesale might cause other problems. Without my own PC handy, all I can suggest is that *usually* the first three entries (point.0, 1, and 2) are the contact points for the landing gear. I added a link below to an explanation of the aircraft.cfg file. You need to make the vertical value of the landing gear contact points (Which is the forth column) more negative by maybe a foot or more (the value is in feet with decimal, rather than inches for any value less than a foot; 6 inches = .5 feet). You may have to adjust the values a few times, depending on how much change is needed.

Be sure to make a back-up copy of the .cfg file first!

I just downloaded this one last night thinking this was the plane you were talking about and did not see anything in instructions on "Modules".

I have to say that this planes sits on runway correct and is a beautiful paint BTW. It flew really well.

Tell what'd be easier - go find ya another 777-300 of the same type, download it,,,,

install it - than take that PAINT Livery and ADD to the new Download, see if that corrects the problem ???

I've had to do that a few times.

I am with you Jetranger, I had a 777 when I started a flight that would have right main gear that would be tilted upon loading a flight and ailerons would be locked in a funky position.

Forget about 'modules' or any other complications

What file exactly are you talking about? As AZframer mentions above, the file he texted works fine and sits fine. As with real aircraft you need flaps and into wind for takeoff otherwise you'll be hitting turf on the end of the runway.

Yea I took it for a test flight just this morning from Phoenix to Billings Montana and did a CAT III landing in a snow storm. It works a treat.
