That's the greatness of flightsimming, if you can't be there, you can be there. There's some excellent add on scenery of Bora Bora somewhere out there, maybe here at SimV, get ya a boat or ship of some kind, or an aircraft if you prefer, a few beers, a Capt Bligh outfit, and viola, "Bora Bora, here I come."

OK, I just viewed the video. Back in the early 1980's, before Hurricane David wiped out a lot of the shore line, when my friend GC would come into town, we'd drive up to Ft Pierce (East Florida coast, about 2.5 hours north of Miami), and hang out on an incredibly beautiful, totally deserted beach half way up Hutchinson Island. Bora Bora in my backyard, almost. You could see for miles north and south, a wide beachfront, deserted, some kind of trees inland a bit, and just total serenity. Unfortunately, the hurricane washed away a lot of the beach and the encroaching salt water killed a lot of the trees. But in its day, a total paradise, like in those Corona commercials. You just sit there and veg out.

You don't have to be "older" to get aches and pains with the seasons. After 12 years in the Marine Corps I now "snap crackle and pop" to a different note each season. I know some fellow Vets can relate. Just turned 34 years young on Nov 18, but my joints turned 55...
