Understand the doc part. What's NHS? Health service in your country (whatever that is) I guess?

I use to think so too Paul, but now that I am under the German National Health System and have been for the last 20 years, my loyalties have changed. It beats the UK's into a cocked hat.....

2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

Whatever it is, its got to be better than the US System, where, if you don't have private health insurance, and you are injured, or ill, you die!
With the National System, everyone gets help, for free, irrespective of wealth, or lack of it!
