First of all, pretty funny. Secondly, ewwww! Lastly, it brings to mind a true story. My dad was in a casual business meeting in Karratha, Western Australia. The meeting was held in a local hotel meeting room and catered by said hotel with baskets of potato chips. The gentleman sitting next to my dad was picking through a basket and eating small dark objects. When asked what he was eating the gentleman replied, "peppercorns."
Upon closer inspection he discovered he was eating rodent droppings! Bon appétit!

I use a variety of Peppercorns, whole and crushed, black, red, and green, in my gravies, stews, and casseroles...

I just make sure that I store them well away from Mouse-holes... :o ....!
