FSX Twin Bonanza

Postby leader01 » Thu Sep 24, 2015 4:50 pm

I have recently downloaded the FSX Twin Bonanza from Eric Dantes and the propellers create an opaque view at certain angles and also cut off the main door when the aircraft is viewed from the front quarter. Does anyone know what may cause this and if there is a way to fix it?

Yesss, mine does it too,,, just haven't had time to Fix it yet.

Sometimes happens by the Alpha Channel applied tothe Texture File,,, and the way FSX Renders the file, sometimes theres nothing ya can do to fix that particular file

The Fix : is to find a similar prop Texture and swap Textures from another aircraft

try putting in the one from the beech baron 58 , making sure to keep the same file name as the prop your replacing,,, if that doesn't work then try keeping the default name of the Beech baron 58 and dropping it in there

and if that still doesn't work, look for another similar aircraft here on simviation with the same style prop and download it, and use that Prop Texture, you'll have to experiment to see which File name to use & keep tho, which ever works !

I tried prop textures from several aircraft.......no change! Does anyone know how to get hold of Eric Dantes? From what I read, one needs to get into the model file to correct this problem.

Nice plane.......I just don't like to fly planes that lose bits 'n pieces while they are in the air. That doesn't happen in real aviation, does it?

I have spent several hours doing research to see if I can find a fix to the problem of opaque propeller textures and siappearing main doors on the Eric Dantes Beechcraft Twin Bonanza ported over to FSX. Nuthin' shows up.

But, I find some cool things along the way and now throw out the challenge to the commercial world.

How about the development of a payware Twin Bonanza and a Cessna 310 L to Q model...............these planes show some real character!!!!!!!!

Just out of curiosity, I downloaded the Twin Bonanza.

For those interested, I'm using Prepar3d V2.5, and had no prop problem at all.

Anyway.

Leader01, you might want to consider the Beechcraft V35 Bonanza from Carenado.

There's no comparison with the Twin Bonanza. This one blows it away.

For a 310, let me recommend the MilViz - C310R Light GA Twin.

I don't buy too many aircraft, but the Bonanza V35 and this one are pretty good.

Thanks for the suggestions.

I have the F33A Bonanza and enjoy it a lot. I am looking for a twin and have been looking at the Milviz C310 and B55. I just like the look of the Twin Bonanza and earlier C310's.
