Well......

Names that are perfectly all right in one language, may not smell so sweet in another language.


Take the Mitsubishi Pajero. It didn't sell so well in Spain.

We in the US use a single word, where the Urban Dictionary defines the Spanish slang as "He who fiddles with himself for......"

It also reminds me of the origin of the name of the island of Phuket, in the peninsular of Malaysia.
During the first Tsunami flood that devastated the island many Centuries ago.
A visiting explorer was heard to say, at the time;....

Phuket!.....I wasn't expecting that!"

That's how the island got its name...

I took it over to the University of California for them to identify during one of my Cessna 150 flights over the San Francisco Bay.
It turned out to be it was a piece of 4.5 billion-year-old fossilised Cat crap.

So there you go...
