Remove add-on plane.

Postby georgiaracer » Sun Aug 23, 2015 4:17 pm

How do I remove an add-on plane from the game. I am using Windows 8.1. My computer is Asus M51BC with a 64 bit processor, 3.30 GHz. I have 12.0 GB installed memory. How do I proceed with the removal of aircraft installed in the game? The aircraft I am trying to remove is P38L-1 downloaded from Simviation. I think I corrupted it moving it to the game. I want to re-install after removable. Thanks for any advice you may think I can use to fix my mistake. I still want to know how to remove planes from the game. Sometime you get a real stinker and would like to get rid of it to conserve hars-drive space. Thanks.

Simply navigate to the FS9 location, usually C:/Program Files/Microsoft Games/Flight Simulator 9/Aircraft and open the Aircraft Folder. Find the add-on aircraft folder, right click on it and select Delete OR alternatively, if you want to keep the add-on aircraft, select Cut and Paste it to a folder outside of FS9 or drag and drop it to the folder of your choice. Nothing to it.
